This week is a little nutty with errands and meetings scheduled all week following work. Plus the two hour daily commute leaves for little time for gourmet cooking. So here are a few easy tips I’ve used this week to stay on track. 1. Hardboiled eggs for breakfast, in less than 20 minutes you can prepare up to the 2-3 days worth of breakfasts. Peal in the morning and eat in the car 2. Salad with Tessemae’s dressing, pre-chopped veggies from salad bar to dress the salad up. Turkey kielbasa that is hormone free/ antibiotic/ preservative free to heat up with salad for lunch. 3. Lara bars on hand to get rid of the drive-thru excuse 4. Iced Americano when looking for an indulgence from the cafe/sbux 5. Ordered some of Steve’s Original Jerky kits- along with the paleo krunch bars & paleo cereal to have with Almond milk.
Now these are not my ideal meals, I like to lean towards veggies and straight protein vs nuts & bars. But it definitely beats the alternative. And saves me from the stress of meal planning when there are weeks where no spare time is to be found. Send me your ideas that make staying on track easy and simple! Always love hearing how other people cope with busy work days and their simple, fun solutions!
