I’m sure we all have a book that has majorly impacted our lives. A lightbulb like moment. Imagine a book that was real, fun, and informative ~ it even managed to change your health and outlook on foods! Not another shpeal of low fat, healthy whole grain non-sense. Not advice on how to workout longer and get more done by sleeping less and attempting to cheat the bio-realities of the world. The Whole9 is my lightbulb moment with their new book It Starts With Food. It’s one thing to know what you should eat, follow a list of foods, and some preplanned meal layout. But it really is another thing to understand why. When you value and understand the why, it sticks. You want to apply your knew wonderful knowledge!
I am into chapter 6 of this book now. I am about to take off and spend 7 days in Haiti, but when I return back to my current reality, some major changes and permanent attitudes are going to be on the chopping block. I wish I had more time to crank out the book right now! At least my Kindle is ready to go after this post.. I am looking forward to the motivation that the Whole9 radiates throughout the text. Can’t wait to spend some time trying out new recipes instead of worrying about what to eat and who to believe in the world of nutrition and healthy foods.
